The streets of the Guinean capital were full of supporters on Friday evening, particularly young people, in excess on motorbikes or perched on the hood of vehicles, as can be seen in numerous videos posted on social networks, facts confirmed by a police source.
It is in this effervescence of joy, sparked by Guinea’s 1-0 victory over Gambiathat two vehicles driving at high speed collided, again according to the same source.
Since Friday evening, messages have been flooding the networks. When some send their condolences, others call for more caution on the road.
