Stolen vehicle investigation leads to arrest

Three area men have court dates next month after being arrested by Chatham-Kent police on Friday.

Chatham-Kent police said a 67-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested on a warrant for criminal harassment and as well as a new charge of utter threats.

He was released with an April 27 short date.

A 30-year-old Chatham man was arrested on warrant for impaired driving and failing to attend court.

He was released with an April 20 short date.

A 27-year-old Blenheim man was arrested for criminal harassment, mischief and operating a motor vehicle while prohibited.

He was released with an April 20 short date.

Tilbury man charged with impaired

A 32-year-old Tilbury man will be without his vehicle and driver’s license for a while after being pulled over by Chatham-Kent police on Saturday.

Police said the man failed a roadside breath test, resulting in him being arrested and transported to police headquarters for further breath tests.

The accused provided two breath samples that led to him being charged with have a blood-alcohol concentration over the legal limit, police said.

His vehicle was towed and impounded and his license was suspended for 90 days, police said.

The man was released with an April 29 short date.
