Chatham-Kent police are investigating three break-ins.

Police responded to the Shell Gas Station on Dufferin Avenue in Wallaceburg just after 5 am Saturday where it was learned a window was smashed and approximately $100 worth of items were stolen.

Police are also investigating a break and enter on Valley Road in Chatham.

A male was seen breaking into the garage just before 8 am Friday, police said.

The suspect was scared off, but a table saw and sawhorses were stolen, police said.

A break and enter at a vacant apartment at 8 Richmond St. in Chatham is under investigation after the property was entered sometime over the last week, police said.

Chatham woman arrested

A 28-year-old Chatham woman, wanted on a warrant for failing to comply with her release order, ended up in custody after she was located by a Chatham-Kent police officer on general patrol around 9:30 pm Saturday.

The woman was arrested on the strength of her warrant and held in custody for a bail hearing, police said.
