The car did not stop at the request of police, who pursued the car for five minutes before it veered off the road and crashed into trees, according to police.

Three 17-year-old boys were traveling in the car.

— An injured person was taken to hospital by police helicopter. The two other injured were taken in an ambulance. The injuries to the three are serious but stable, says Fredrik Flyberg, officer on duty at the police, to the newspaper.

The teenage boys are suspected of several crimes – including gross drunk driving, gross negligence in traffic, causing bodily harm and for not having stopped at a policeman’s signal.

— Illegal driving will probably also be added. As far as I know, none of the three in the car has turned 18, says Fredrik Flyberg.

The police have contacted the Special Prosecutor’s Chamber for an investigation into the incident, when the teenage boys were injured during a police intervention.
