Three Woodstock residents face drug-trafficking charges after two addresses were searched late last week.
The Woodstock department’s criminal intelligence and drug enforcement unit, with the help of officers from the emergency response and community response units, executed the two warrants on Friday, police said.
During this investigation, police reportedly seized a stung gun, a crossbow, an imitation firearm, suspected cocaine and Canadian currency.
The three suspects – a 47-year-old , a 29-year-old and a 51-year-old – were charged with drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose. The 51-year-old Woodstonian was also charged with possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
The three suspects are slated to return to court in October.
