In the United Arab Emirates, three people have been arrested in connection with the death of an Israeli rabbi, the country’s interior ministry said on Sunday.
Authorities in the United Arab Emirates found a rabbi who had been missing since Thursday by Zvi Kogan body on Sunday.
The 28-year-old rabbi also had Moldovan citizenship. He served as the ambassador of the ultra-orthodox congregation in the United Arab Emirates.
Israel has called the killing of the rabbi an anti-Semitic act of terrorism. The US administration, in turn, condemned the act as a heinous crime and demanded that those responsible be held accountable.
So far, the authorities of the Arab Emirates or Israel have not given more details about the circumstances of the murder.
