The three people who were arrested are suspected on probable grounds of serious weapons offences. This is the third time in the course of three weeks that the police have seized firearms in Örebro, which indicates that the arrests are part of their work against serious crime. On 12 April, a man in his 20s was also arrested on suspicion of aggravated weapons offences, even there a weapon could be seized by the police.
Because it is a sensitive preliminary investigation, the police are very secretive about the matter and choose not to comment.
