“They are suspected of serious assault,” says Torbjörn Lindqvist, officer on duty at the police.
The police were called to the area on Saturday morning. The background is that a property owner saw a suspicious car near his property.
— In which the property owner and a relative have sat in a car. They have since met this car on a smaller road. There, the relative of the property owner got out of their car, and then the car with the suspects in it managed to squeeze past and hit him, says Torbjörn Lindqvist.
The hitting car eventually went into the ditch, whereupon the three men left the scene on foot.
After an operation with several police patrols and a dog, the three men were arrested at 1.30 p.m. The car has been impounded for a technical examination.
There is no information that the person hit was seriously injured.
