Three men have been arrested on suspicion of shooting at an apartment in eastern Gothenburg late on Maundy Thursday, the police announce.
One person was in the residence when the shots were fired, but he was unharmed. The police opened a preliminary investigation into attempted murder and serious weapons crime and later in the evening an 18-year-old man was arrested and detained in a forest area near the crime scene.
At 15:00 on Easter Eve, the police state that a total of three young men were arrested on suspicion of involvement in the shooting. More arrests “cannot be ruled out”, according to the police.
