Three men have been sentenced to prison after a clothing coup against Ellos and Lindex where clothing worth SEK 39 million was stolen, including almost 27,000 bras, reports SVT Väst.
The thefts took place in March. The men were arrested following a tip that suspicious persons had loaded cardboard boxes into a warehouse in Kållered outside Gothenburg. They were not charged with theft but instead with aggravated robbery because they could not be linked to the crime scenes.
The men denied the crime, but could be convicted due to evidence that included text messages, voice messages and one of their own videos showing how they loaded Ellos boxes.
They will now serve prison sentences of two years to three years and nine months. Two of them are also sentenced to deportation from Sweden.
