Three men are detained on suspicion of the murder of a Swedish woman in Kosovo, reports P4 West. One of the detainees is the woman’s husband, who is suspected of having ordered the murder.

It was on Wednesday evening that the woman, who is in her 30s and a native of Bohuslän, was shot dead in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. She was sitting in a car with her husband and two children when she was subjected to what is suspected to be a staged robbery.

The woman was killed while the husband fled the scene together with the couple’s two children.

According to Kosovar media, the woman’s husband is suspected of ordering the murder of his wife and paying 15,000 euros to two other men before the murder and another 15,000 after the crime was completed.

All three were arrested this weekend and remanded in custody on Sunday at a court in Pristina, reports P4 West with reference to local media.

The police in Pristina are said to have seized a gun with 19 bullets and the car used during the robbery.
