Over 5,000 children in Gaza were diagnosed with malnutrition in May, according to a new report from UNICEF, an increase of close to 50 percent compared to April.
Israel introduced March 2 a total blockade against the already hard -hit Gaza Strip, which meant that no supplies were admitted. Only eleven weeks later, the blockade was partially lifted.
UNICEF demands that Israel “immediately allow large -scale deliveries of life -saving help through all border crossings”.
