This is where the problem lies because, in possession of this data, cybercriminals can use the sums in these accounts as they wish. “We have strengthened controls in the event of your loyalty card being withdrawn,” assures Auchan, however, which specifies that bank card numbers, passwords or other pin codes have not been stolen.
For Auchan loyalty card holders, vigilance must be increased.
