A girl of the same age was to be murdered at school – that was the plan when a now 17-year-old boy came to a school in Blekinge in January. Now he is sentenced to forensic psychiatric care with a special discharge examination, reports P4 Blekinge. He must also pay SEK 50,000 in damages.
He had a knife in his backpack and when he arrived at the school he purposefully looked for the girl, the prosecutor described in the indictment. But school staff turned him away from the school grounds, as he was not a student there himself.
He is sentenced for preparation for murder, because according to the Blekinge district court it is clear that his intention was to harm the girl.
