The municipality’s community attraction and promotion team is hosting the annual ‘baCK to Chatham-Kent’ Home for the Holidays campaign, which will take place throughout this month.

A flag-raising for the campaign is slated for Monday at noon in front of the Civic Center.

“The baCK to Chatham-Kent campaign highlights the many reasons why Chatham-Kent is a great place to live and work,” Mayor Darrin Canniff said in a release.

“It encourages train residents to move back to their roots and build their lives and careers here. As always, we are happy to welcome CK residents back home. ”

The campaign shares experiences of those who have chosen to return, along with their successes, and highlights the lifestyle and employment opportunities available in Chatham-Kent.

“Every winter holiday, we host the baCK Home for the Holidays campaign to celebrate C-K’s young people and all the amazing benefits of LivingCK,” said Victoria Bodnar, resident attraction and retention co-ordinator.

“This includes showcasing the many employment opportunities to grow your career in CK and ways to get recognized while you’re home.”

People can follow along and share their stories by visiting www.LivingCK.ca/baCK, emailing [email protected], or searching for Living CK on Facebook or Twitter.
