It was in 1990 that Thomas Bodstrom took his law degree at Stockholm University and soon after that he started working at Sju adokater in the capital.

In 2000, Bodström entered politics. In October this year, he was named Minister of Justice in Göran Persson’s government and thus succeeded Laila Freivalds.
When the Social Democrats lost the election in 2006 and there was a change of government, Bodström became chairman of the Riksdag’s justice committee instead. After four years, he resigned.

And the fact that Thomas Bodström has a decent salary is also noticeable in his accommodation. The lawyer and former minister lives in a 158 square meter apartment in central Stockholm.
