The new park on the Thomas à Kempisweg is an idea of Residents Initiative Fris Alternative. They saw the plans for the Stadsboulevard as an opportunity to increase the quality of life in the area, to make new construction in the Thomas à Kempisplantsoen possible and to better involve the area in the Nieuw England district.
