This means that four more wolves may be killed in the approved areas located in the counties of Södermanland, Värmland, Västmanland, Västra Götaland and Örebro.
In three areas – Venabäcken, Ripelången and Tångeråsareviret and Villingsberg – the hunt has now ended because all the assigned wolves have been shot, according to the newspaper’s compilation.
In the Tjunken district in Värmland and in the Gryten district in Södermanland, two out of six assigned wolves each remain.
During Sunday, three wolves were killed – two in Tjunken and the twelfth and last assigned wolf in Tångeråsa and Villingsbergsreviret in Örebro County.
This year’s wolf hunt began on January 2 and lasts until February 15 at the latest.
