Around 250 participants gathered in a large pile of snow to launch 50 balls in Vemdalen village. A ticket was exchanged for a spade and each ball that was unearthed gave a lottery number, but for those who couldn’t dig, there were some so-called lazy worm tickets to buy.
A happy winner
Many nice prizes were awarded after the competition, but the big prize of SEK 10,000 went to the young winner and Vemdal resident Albin Lennartzon. He found only one ball, but it went a long way.
