Heavy names on the guest list, political experts and result figures that are updated in real time. According to the production, the vigil in TV4 will be the most spectacular ever.
– We want to give the viewers the fastest news from the election coverage and the earliest and most pointed analyses, say the host duo Jenny Strömstedt and Tilde de Paula Eby.
During the vigil, Marcus Oscarsson, political expert, will guide viewers through the latest numbers and forecasts in real time. TV4’s reporters are present at all parliamentary parties’ vigils and report directly throughout the dramatic evening. In addition, reporters will meet voters around the country.
TV4 Nyheterna’s political commentators Ann Tiberg and Ulf Kristofferson will be responsible for razor-sharp analyses, while Maximilian Artell will keep viewers updated with the latest news.

This year, the election vigil is broadcast from a brand new studio with guests such as Mona Sahlin, Maria Wetterstrand, Göran Hägglund, Amineh Kakabaveh and Hanif Bali.
The election broadcasts on TV4 and TV4 Play start at 08.00 on election day, 11 September. At 18.00 the election vigil begins.
