Avatar 3: Five new images show Pandora like we’ve never seen it before
The new images were unveiled at D23 in Brazil, where upcoming films and series from Disney and all associated departments such as 20th Century Studios, Marvel and Lucasfilm have been presented since Friday. However, the Avatar 3 images are not final scenes from the film.
Instead, Cameron presented five pieces of concept art that introduce us to an entirely new Na’vi tribe. This one moves nomadic through the air from Pandora – and it looks absolutely stunning. Just the idea of seeing the following images in motion on the big screen in 3D gives you goosebumps.

The concept drawings were created by Steve Messing, Dylan Cole and Zachary Berger, who were already involved in the production of Avatar 2: The Way of Water and significantly influenced the design of Pandora. Hardly any major blockbuster these days can do without the valuable preparatory work of concept artists.
Based on the script, they develop the look of the film with the production designer and director, from the large space panorama to inconspicuous details in costumes and masks. Numerous other departments build on this preparatory work, which ultimately leads us ever closer to the images that we then see in the cinema.
