The French biathlon star has a ritual of which she is completely addicted.
For 11 days, from Wednesday 12 to Sunday 23 February, Biathlon is in the spotlight with the world championships which are competing in Switzerland, on the side of Lenzerheide. As every time, the Worlds are interspersed in the middle of the World Cup season, a season once again marked by the great performances of the French and especially French women.
If the year is more difficult among men with a single real smile since the start of the season with the right place to the general of Eric Perrot, it is the girls who make the show and in particular the Frenchman Lou Jeanmonnot. During the last event in Anthloz, Italy (the 2026 Olympicion track), the Frenchwoman won with the manner during the sprint and the prosecution, distant competition. For the Worlds, it advances as one of the big favorites.
In the world circuit recently, Lou Jeanmonnot has also made a name for two years, but also … tattoos! Indeed, the Frenchwoman is addicted to the tattoos and has a very special ritual: she made a new one each year, at the end of the season.
“I do a new tattoo every year,” she said to Chrono ski. “This is my end -of -season ritual in April. These are my jewelry.” A flocon on the shoulder, a Maori tattoo on the occasion of a trip to New Zealand … If Lou Jeanmonnot’s career lasts several years, the body of biathlete could become a real picture.
The Frenchwoman has other rituals including one which concerns her specialty: the shooting! Since she was 14 years old, Lou Jeanmonnot has used the same rifle, season after season without changing it, even if sometimes the latter is a little badly in point and has required some repairs.
“I had it on my birthday! I knew I was going to have it, because my parents had told me more or less, but I was really looking forward to having it. It’s a great Tool that I appreciate a lot and I think I will keep it until the end of my career, if it is in good condition, “said the Frenchwoman.
