Alexander Isak’s potential has been known for a long time. The Swedish striker has blossomed in Newcastle.
Swedish football player Alexander Isak has become one of the most talked about players in the world.
The Newcastle striker has scored no less than nine goals in the last seven matches in the Premier League.
The 25-year-old Swede is tied for third place in the Premier League goal exchange with 13 goals, ahead of only Mohamed Salah (18 goals) and Erling Haaland (16 goals).
Isak’s goals have been a big reason for Newcastle’s recent results and seven game winning streak. Newcastle is fifth in the Premier League, one point behind Chelsea.
Isak already had a goal streak in place last season in Newcastle’s shirt, when the forward knocked in 21 cages. The last time a club legend broke the 20-goal mark in the Premier League in one season Alan Shearer.
– Isak is a constant threat on the field. His finishing is great and his confidence is fine, commented Shearer for the BBC.
A humble player without a big ego
Born near Stockholm, Isak’s roots are in Eritrea. Superlupaus got a taste of Swedish football at the age of 16 in the ranks of AIK.
Isak has since been equated with, among other things, an Arsenal legend to Thierry Henryas well as the Swede who surfaced with a somewhat similar background Zlatan to Ibrahimovic. Isak quickly got the nickname “Uusi Zlatan”.
However, Isak is considered a down-to-earth guy, which does not match Ibrahimovic’s character trait.

– I have never met anyone who exceeds 175 in the high jump without any kind of sports training. He also beat everyone in table tennis, his physical education teacher later recalled.
