The latter would then be more concentrated in class and interested in the course when the teacher is well dressed. A previous study dating from 1979 had made it possible to determine, on the contrary, that teachers who do not attach importance to physical appearance are perceived as less friendly, less organized, and that they have fewer interactions. with their students.

An elegant teacher = an attractive course?

So, when the teacher is perceived as “attractive” thanks to an elegant dress code for example, his personality is in fact judged to be positive, and the students seem to be more attentive to his teachings. They are also more likely to do their homework and work.

Does the way the teacher is dressed influence the way the students listen to him?
