Actress Milla Jovovich took part in her first major film role in The Fifth Element, which was also the Breakthrough of the model in Hollywood was. Behind the scenes, she had an additional task on set – and it had to do with the children of her co-star Bruce Willis and his then-wife Demi Moore.

While Jovovich pursues a special mission in her role as a mysterious woman named Leeloo, Willis was the flying taxi driver Korben Dallas, who made it her mission to support Leeloo. Jovovich will spend time on the set of The Fifth Element in remain in special memory as “brilliant moment” of their lives:

There are always some brilliant moments in our lives among all the little things – among all the normal stuff, among all the failures and disappointments and whatever, the good, the bad, the normal, the ugly.

Working with co-star Bruce Willis in particular was a significant experience for Milla Jovovich:

It must be one of those shining moments in my life, in my career, who really meant something to me as a person and actress. It was a special moment. It was a special role.

Jovovich also made friendly personal contacts with Bruce Willis and his entire family, including his wife Demi Moore and hers their daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulahwho often visited her on set. Jovovich remembered their time together in the interview:

[Bruce Willis] was quite a bit older than me. I was more with his kids and Demi [Moore] friends. They came to visit. We listened to music and danced together.

As the actress explained, she was like an older sister to Bruce Willis’ daughters and was therefore able to help her colleague “Mom and Dad time” help on set.

Milla Jovovich also said in the interview that she still keeps in touch with the family to this day:

They are so cool and such wonderful girls. You have such a great relationship with Demi and I love that. I consider them a family unit and I think what they have created is just wonderful.

After The Fifth Element with the Resident Evil films, Jovovich herself became an action heroine in Hollywood cinema. She continues to be active behind and in front of the camera and can currently be seen alongside Jennifer Hudson and Sam Worthington in Stefon Bristol’s science fiction film Breathe.

Now she is like Bruce Willis back then herself the mother of three daughters.
