After Robert Pattinson in 2022 and René-Jean Page in 2023, there is another male star who comes in first place in the ranking of the most handsome men in the world, established by cosmetic surgeon Julian De Silva.
A mathematical formula for assessing beauty
If beauty is totally subjective and unique to each person, science, and more particularly Dr. Julian De Silva, has established a method to measure physical perfection. Called the golden ratio prism, the latter is essentially based on the symmetry and proportions of the face. Knowing that the perfect number is equivalent to 1.6180339, it would be enough to measure the areas of the face, compare them and relate them to this golden number to know if we are considered to have ideal beauty. Measurements are taken from the hairline to a point between the eyes, from between the eyes to the tip of the nose and then from the tip of the nose to the bottom of the chin.

Among men, he is a singer known to all who has all the prerequisites to be voted the most handsome in the world. Indeed, science has spoken and it is Harry Styles who takes first place this year. According to calculations by Dr. Julian De Silva, the 30-year-old comes closest to the golden ratio, scoring 98.15%.
This very high score is partly due to the distance between his two eyes, the length and width of his nose but also the position of his mouth and his eyebrows. Thanks to this result, we better understand why the former singer and musician of One Direction is emulated all over the world. Although this is certainly not the only reason!
