This product used in the kitchen works miracles to clean and remove limescale from toilets.
Keeping the bathroom clean, and especially the toilets, is not always easy. The cause? The appearance of stubborn traces of limescale, which are not very aesthetic. If cleaning the toilet is a household chore that everyone hates, with this really effective tip, it will become child’s play, you will no longer need to scrub.
Among the many cleaning methods available, one stands out for its originality, simplicity and effectiveness. It involves using a dishwasher tablet to remove limescale and other stubborn deposits from toilets. These tablets, designed to degrease and disinfect dishes, can also be extremely effective in cleaning and disinfecting your toilets.
You will see, this method is revolutionary and will only take you 2 minutes (without the break time to let the product act of course). Here is how to do it. Boil at least one liter of hot water and pour it into a basin. Place the dishwasher tablet in it and let it partially dissolve (if your toilet is very dirty, heat 2 liters of water and put two dishwasher tablets). This initial dissolution will allow the cleaning agents in the tablet to spread more easily on the surfaces to be cleaned.
Slowly pour the warm water and dissolved tablet mixture into the toilet bowl, making sure to cover the inside walls. Let it sit for at least 15 to 20 minutes, or overnight for maximum effectiveness. The active ingredients in the tablet, such as enzymes and bleach, will begin to dissolve limescale deposits and eliminate bacteria.
Use a toilet brush to scrub the inside walls of the bowl, paying particular attention to areas that are stained or have limescale. If necessary, an old toothbrush can be used to reach hard-to-reach corners. Flush the toilet to rinse the bowl.
