Eric (Marco Pigossi) works with his partner Márcia (Áurea Maranhão) for the environmental police in Rio. Whenever there is an ecological crime, he is on the spot. But when his wife dies mysteriously, he is not only faced with a pile of broken glass, but also a seemingly unsolvable puzzles.
When more similarly bizarre deaths occur in the city and his little daughter also begins to behave strangely, Eric starts investigating on his own. The corpse of a river dolphin, of all things, finally leads him to the trail of a Rio’s underground community: In the shadows, the forgotten alleys, magical creatures roam that Eric otherwise only knows from fairy tales.
Eric discovers that his world is much more complicated and fantastic than he could have ever imagined. In addition, he himself plays a crucial role in a ancient warwhich has now flared up again.
