In the Faroe Islands, the number of dolphins that can be slaughtered will be limited after strong images of the traditional dolphin hunting gate killing have been spread. The bloody pictures where the animals are lying in drifts have made people react.
That’s the new decision
The reactions have resulted in a decision that in 2022 and 2023, a maximum of 500 dolphins of the species white-tailed deer may be killed per year.
