Visitors to CES 2023, in Las Vegas, were able to discover an amazing connected pillow, capable of considerably reducing snoring by slightly modifying the position of a person’s head while they sleep.

Between the stroller that moves by itself and television without cables, the CES is an opportunity each year to discover many innovations in consumer electronics and this 2023 edition was no exception to the rule. Among the most surprising products, but also and above all useful, is a pillow intended to reduce the noise produced at night by snoring.

This unique product was developed by a South Korean start-up, 10minds. This is actually the latest version of a product that seems to have already proven itself. Its system is based on four airbags placed inside the pillow. Depending on the positioning of the head and its movements, they make it possible to raise the head and align it well with the rest of the body to better free the airways. It is a small box, to be placed on his bedside table, which detects the sounds of snoring and remotely activates the operation of these cushions. This solution still has a limit: it mainly concerns people sleeping on their backs.

The pillow being connected, it sends back a lot of practical information on a mobile application. The user will thus be able to find out how long he snored and the number of manipulations that took place during the night.

the Motion Pillow is available in South Korea for 870,000 won, the equivalent of just over 650 euros. Note that in its communication, 10minds compares the noise of a snorer to that of a heavy metal concert and that so far nearly 94% of users of this pillow have noticed, via their application, a significant decrease the duration and volume of their snoring.
