Many moisturizers are fighting to be at the top of the podium. But this year, it is a Carrefour brand product that wins the votes. The jury of 60 million consumers tested, approved and elected the cream Hydra Hydrating Jelly with Organic Aloe Vera from Nectar of Bio as the best on the market in the organic category. It obtains the grade of A for the Environment score, the Health score and the Cosmeto’Score. This aloe vera cream (renowned for its soothing, healing and moisturizing properties) has a certified organic formula, composed of only 9 ingredients of which 99% of natural origin. And at that price (2.59 euros for 125 ml), it would be a shame to deprive yourself !
Warning on compositions
The magazine 60 million consumers also analyzed the composition of 17 references of moisturizing creams, available in supermarkets and drugstores. Among them, more than half have a list of ingredients too long and contain controversial substances. For example, phenoxyethanol, a preservative considered an endocrine disruptor, is found in a third of formulas. It is therefore important to pay close attention to the components, even if the product in question is said to be “clean”. According to the magazine, the best formulations are found at children’s department and/or organic.
