In fact, your operator can completely increase the price of your package provided you justify it and warn you. In theory, you are always supposed to receive an email or SMS warning you of an increase in the prices of your current package. However, it is not uncommon to miss your warnings, as it will surely be the case in a few days.
One of the best known operators in France has just decided to increase its prices from March. The increase in question is not trivial since the price of the package concerned will jump by more than 33% compared to its current rate. The operator in question, SOSH, has already started to warn its customers that its package at 5.99 euros will soon increase to 7.99 in March 2025. Fortunately, there is a technique to avoid this increase.
First of all, it is a question of understanding why Sosh decides to increase his prices. Even if it is only two additional euros per month, this represents a large increase compared to the basic price of the package. To justify himself, the operator indicates that your new offer at 7.99 is with double internet data that you currently have. You will therefore go from 20 GB to 40 GB from March. Your other options are kept.
If you want to refuse this increase, do not panic, it is quite possible. You have until March 18, 2025 to connect to Your SOSH customer area available at this address. Then find your current mobile package to arrive on a new page where you will find the evolution of prices offered by Sosh. Below the new offer, you will find the button “Given the proposal” which will allow you to keep your current 20 GB package and its price of 5.99 euros.
Note that if you have received an email or sms from Sosh to warn you of the increase, a link is there too. It will allow you to consult the new offer offered and refuse it if you wish. If the offer at 7.99 euros interests you (an additional 20 GB for 2 euros per month can be an interesting proposal in some cases), then you have nothing to do. The change will be automatic by March.
