This mocktail only requires 2 ingredients and its best when

To be made in less than 5 minutes, this delicious mocktail proposed by former Top Chef Danny Khezzar is absolutely irresistible and ultra-refreshing!

A glass, a straw, ice cubes, a parasol and relaxation… The holidays are not far away and to better cope with the strong summer heat, the desire for a refreshing cocktail is pressing… If there are an infinite number of cocktail flavor combinations for the summer, we ignore the classics and turn instead to this non-alcoholic cocktail signed Danny Khezzar, the young chef who marked the fourteenth season of the culinary show Top Chef with his multiple victories in the Hidden Brigade. Quick, easy and ultra-refreshing, its recipe requires only two ingredients!

The homemade mocktail proposed by Danny Khezzar only combines watermelon and lemon, for a healthy aperitif or to telework with the impression of being at the beach. For the quantity of a glass, you only need a slice of watermelon and a lemon, and possibly, this little bonus ingredient that the finalist uses to decorate everything: a few oxalis flowers. But if you don’t have this small heart-shaped herbaceous plant, no problem, a few fresh mint leaves will suffice. For the preparation, a blender will be necessary.

Cut the watermelon into pieces and squeeze the lemon juice, in more or less quantity according to your preferences. Place the pieces of watermelon in a blender and pour in the lemon juice before mixing everything. Once you obtain a homogeneous preparation, pour everything into a glass previously filled with ice cubes. All that’s left to do is add the oxalis or a few mint leaves for decoration and you’re done!

Delicious, juicy, full of water and alcohol-free, here is an absolutely irresistible mocktail recipe for sunny days. Indeed, the texture and taste of watermelon mixes well with other ingredients and more pronounced flavors like lemon. Watermelon also pairs very well with aromatic plants like oxalis flower, mint or even basil. To consume without moderation!
