In Asked – Hunted, four candidates compete against a hunter in each episode. In the last round, the remaining participants defend the jackpot in a quick guessing round. Teams usually have a particularly difficult time because they can rarely prevail against the hunter. In one episode, the hunter made it particularly easy for them.
Manuel Hobiger makes a mistake: This rarely happens to hunters
On September 23rd, the “Quizvulkan” Manuel Hobiger competed against four candidates on Gefragt – GeJagt. In the end, only candidate Marco Helmut Kehr made it to the final, who had to defend his 3,000 euros against Hobiger. And to the great surprise, the hunter was not as confident as usual. He had to get 13 correct answers, but his time had to be stopped several times. He had never heard of Berlin – Day & Night star Falko Ochsenknecht, who died unexpectedly in July at the age of 39. A final sports question about a NRW Bundesliga club ultimately proved to be Hobiger’s undoing.
“I’m surprised and didn’t think you’d lose a 13, Mr. Hobiger.”moderator Alexander Bommes rubbed salt into the wound. “No, that didn’t work,” the hunter admitted. The winnings of 3,000 euros were – as the candidates subsequently revealed – divided equally among the fellow candidates.
