This method works very well for cleaning plastic garden furniture

Just one product is enough to effectively clean plastic garden chairs and tables.

Summer is here and it’s time to spend time in your garden or on your terrace. To fully enjoy it, there’s nothing better than pretty garden furniture. Plastic is always popular! For the good reason that it’s affordable, but also easier to maintain than wooden furniture. The problem is, you took it out of the garage or cellar and it’s yellowed or blackened, full of dust, dirt and mold? It’s time for a big clean!

While white plastic furniture is easy to maintain, it is also subject to the elements, sun and dirt in the summer, and exposed to dust when stored in the winter. The result: a table and chairs that are not really white. Fortunately, there is a magic product that will allow you to keep your white plastic furniture bright white, almost like the first day.

This product is clay stone, also known as white stone or silver stone. It is an eco-friendly cleaning product that works wonders at home to clean the kitchen or bathroom, but also to restore the shine to your white plastic garden furniture.

It is composed mainly of white clay, soap and sometimes lemon essential oil for a pleasant scent. Its slightly abrasive texture allows for deep cleaning without scratching surfaces, making it ideal for plastic, but also for stainless steel, ceramic, glass and many other materials.

Here’s how to properly use clay stone to clean your plastic garden furniture. Dampen a sponge, it should be damp but not too wet. Rub the sponge on the clay stone to collect a small amount of product. Using circular movements, gently rub the sponge or cloth on the plastic furniture. Pay particular attention to particularly dirty or stained areas. Once cleaning is complete, rinse the sponge or cloth with clean water. Then pass the rinsed sponge over the furniture to remove any clay stone residue. Finally, use a dry cloth to wipe and dry the furniture, thus avoiding any traces of water that may remain.
