Want to take advantage of your trip to discover the cultural riches of France at a low price? The SNCF has no shortage of surprises this fall. In a joint approach to promoting heritage, the railway company has just formed a new partnership with the Centre des Monuments Nationaux. Enough to make you enjoy your next getaways even more.

All you have to do is show your train ticket at the ticket office of one of them to take advantage of it! The only condition is that the visit must take place no later than five days after the date of your train journey. The Île-de-France region is not to be outdone either. You will have the choice between the Basilica of Saint-Denis, where the kings and queens of France are buried, the Château de Vincennes, the largest royal fortified castle still standing in France, or the Villa Savoye, a manifesto of modern architecture designed by Le Corbusier in Poissy in the Yvelines.

In the Grand Est region, it will be time to discover theThe towers of Reims Cathedral, thethe Tau Palace or to tour the castles of‘Haroué, of Motte-Tilly and Coucy. In Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur, it would be a shame to miss a visit of the villa Kérylos, a unique reconstruction of a majestic palace from ancient Greece in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, or the Château d’If, the legendary prison of the Count of Monte Cristo, located off the coast of Marseille.
The list is extremely long, but if we have to mention other treasures of our regions to explore at low cost urgently, go to the castle of Angers in the Pays de la Loire, to the abbey of Cluny in Burgundy-Franche-Comté, to the castle of Azay-le-Rideau in the Centre-Val de Loire or to the castle and ramparts of the city of Carcassonne in Occitanie.
