A perfume inspired by Anouk Aimée

In 1983, the French couturier of Italian origin wanted to transcribe the beauty of the eternal actress in a fragrance that resembles her. And it’s a successful bet since this feminine, daring and refined jumpsuit which embodies a diva woman will become an emblematic creation of the 80s. All women will want to wear it, starting with Anouk Aimée, whose real name is Nicole Françoise Judith Dreyfus, who will make it his favorite perfume for several years.

Collected in a bust bottle that recalls the designer’s signature pleats, Diva d’Ungaro is a oriental, chypre and very powerful fragrance. Its olfactory translation, composed by Jacques Polge and François Demachy, at the origin of several iconic perfumes from the House of Chanel, highlights a unexpected cocktail of flowers and fruits.
It first opens with notes of tuberose and mandarin then a floral heart based on jasmine, rose, narcissus, iris and ylang ylang blossoms on a powerful base marked by vetiver, amber, Santa wood, patchouli and vanilla.
