Sharon Dijksma, the mayor of Utrecht, visited the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on Wednesday and Thursday. There, Dijksma, who is also vice president of the Association of Dutch Municipalities (VNG), signed cooperation agreements to help Ukrainian cities rebuild after the war.
Together with the other Dutch delegates, she also wanted to send a signal “of the unconditional solidarity of Utrecht and all Dutch municipalities with our Ukrainian partners.”
