The case surrounding the two spy brothers has been one of the most noticed court cases in Sweden in recent years and is described as one of the worst spy scandals in Swedish history. The two brothers who are suspected of selling top secret information to the Russian intelligence service GRU are now charged with aggravated espionage. The trial against the brothers begins on Friday at the Stockholm District Court, and the main hearing is expected to last for approximately ten days.
And in the past week, a married couple, a Russian man and woman in their 60s, have been arrested on suspicion of espionage. The couple was arrested on Tuesday morning in their house outside Stockholm, in a dawn raid amid great drama.

– The Internet and social media are like a smorgasbord where you can both find people with access, but also do this mapping – identify values, finances, vulnerabilities, personality and things that you can exploit, says security advisor Carolina Angelis.
