After two years of the pandemic, the longing for the Pride parade in Stockholm is great – and soon the party will start.

50,000 people are expected to participate in the colorful folk festival, and almost half a million to be spectators. The security requirement is extra large during the day, as the memory of the shooting at a gay bar in Oslo is fresh in the memory even among the police.
Trifa Shakely, chairman of RFSL, believes that it is important to remember the seriousness of the event.
– This is not just a party, but a political stance.
