About eighty people are currently working on the recordings, which started in the morning in Luleå.
– Expectations are insanely high at Norrbotten. The search pressure has been better than last year and above all there are more guys applying and it’s great fun because it’s usually the girls who rule. I find that exciting, says Anders Bagge, who is one of the jury members.
Auditions take place all day in central Luleå
This year, they have chosen to hold the audition very centrally in the cities of Luleå, Gothenburg, Malmö and Stockholm. The recordings in Luleå are taking place in a room on Storgatan near the yellow pavilion, between 09.30 and 18.00 today.
Can be searched spontaneously
New for this year is that it is also possible to spontaneously apply directly on the spot at the audition. The concept is called the Idol express and means that anyone who has the means to pass the Idol recording can stand in line to sing. All that is needed is an ID document and a prepared audition song. Those selected can meet the jury already on the same day with a chance of a golden ticket.
– Every year is so new in some way. That’s what I think is so cool, says Anders Bagge.
