On Midsummer Eve, traditional celebrations were held in several places in Blekinge. At Dragsö camping in Karlskrona, the midsummer pole was traditionally dressed by the camping guests.
– Our tradition in recent years has been to celebrate Midsummer at one particular campsite. It’s very nice, lots of people and lots of children, says Linda Schmitz from Älmhult.
The bar is now in place and awaits the classic midsummer carols and dancing during the day.
– We will go around and sing some songs and celebrate Midsummer, says 6-year-old Miranda Soudassi, from Bromölla.
