Satellite images from Planet Labs, taken over the airbase the day before the attack, show 29 SU aircraft being used by Russia to bomb Ukraine.
Sources for, among other things BBC and Ukrainian media claims that six aircraft were totally destroyed and eight planes were damaged during the drone attack. However, the damage that has occurred cannot be verified until new satellite images have been taken of the air base.

Sources of Ukrainian media also claims that 20 people have been injured or killed as a result of the drone attack. Something that has not yet been verified.

Several military air bases
In addition to the Rostov airbase, Ukraine targeted drones in the Saratov and Krasnodar regions. There are also military air bases there.
