This is what the weather will be like in the country this weekend, according to TV4’s meteorologist

Late summer sun on the way! The weekend comes with clear skies and high temperatures in many places. But next week the weather looks like it will turn around.
– Then there will be rain and showers throughout the country, says TV4’s meteorologist Peter Kondrup.

Maybe it’s the last weekend of summer weather for this year, who knows. It is clear that the weekend will be sunny in many parts of the country.

During Saturday, large parts of the cloud cover, which hovered over the country during Friday, moved away.

– It will be sunniest in Svealand and eastern Norrland on Saturday. It can be really sunny there. The temperatures will be between 20 and 24 degrees, and it is not impossible that there will be high summer heat with 25 degrees in some places, says Peter Kondrup, meteorologist at TV4.

However, cloudy weather is expected both in the mountains and southern Sweden. In the mountains between 10 and 15 degrees, and in southern Sweden around or just below 20 degrees, where it is also expected to break up during Saturday evening.

“The eastern parts get sun”

Sunday also offers a lot of sun.

– Mainly in the eastern parts of Svealand and Norrland. But during Sunday it will be more cloudy in the western parts of the country. There may be some rain in, for example, Bohuslän and Dalsland.

The weather changes

During the beginning of next week, the cloud cover breaks up in southern Sweden. There may be temperatures of around 20 degrees in many parts of the country.

But by Wednesday, the forecast shows that the weather will change to rain showers.

– Then it looks like a low pressure is moving in. There may be rain and showers all over the country, says Peter Kondrup and continues:

– But it doesn’t have to be the end of the summer, it’s too early to say. It can be summer weather throughout August and even in September.
