At the latest with the recent revelation of Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty, it has finally been established that Kang the Conqueror will follow in Thanos’ footsteps as new mega villain in the MCU kicks. We could already see the first appearance of one of numerous Kang variants in the Loki series.

The scenes with Jonathan Majors were just a small taste of what Kang we’ll see next, arguably in his most powerful villain form, in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. A successful one new fan pic shows what that might look like.

See Jonathan Majors as Kang in his comic book form as the new MCU villain

According to Comic Book, the @Clements.Ink Instagram account shared a self-created image that ties the Kang actor to the well-known version from the comics. The result is a pretty convincing impression of what the Thanos successor might look like in the future MCU. But see for yourself:

Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Comics

Unlike Thanos, countless versions of Kang exist in the current MCU multiverse at once. It should be particularly exciting when these parallel existing variants in common to be gathered.

Avengers 5: The Kang Dynasty hits theaters in May 2025. Avengers 6: Secret Wars will follow in September 2025. Before that, Ant-Man 3 starts on February 15, 2023.
