Wednesday, January 8 marked the start of the 2025 winter sales. For approximately four weeks, tempting offers will appear in stores and on every corner of the Internet. The online price and product comparison site Idealo looked at the most profitable purchase in the winter sales. In his study, there is one article in particular that stands out more than the others: the pair of sneakers. “Our analysis shows that it is during the winter sales that it is possible to benefit from the best discounts for sneakers and running shoes, for example, with prices 9% lower than the annual average.” explains Anna Perret, spokesperson for www.idealo.fr France. By analyzing the average monthly price between 2022 and 2024, it was noticed that these shoes are available at 78 euros in January compared to an average of 86 euros all year round If that’s not the best reason to go on sale, then what is?
Among the pairs discounted during this promotional period, we find timeless sneakers like platform Converse, Nike Air Force 1s but also trendy sneakers.
