Activision Blizzard wants 930 € for a bundle of the “Call of Duty” game series on Steam. This triggers outrage: Activision Blizzard is selling a 12-year-old game, for which there are no longer any servers, for 60 €complains a user on Reddit.
What is being sold for so much money? The “Call of Duty Franchise Collection” bundle costs €930 and 66 cents. You save €103, says Activision Blizzard. That is the discount. The bundle contains a total of 39 items:
Activision Blizzard has shown some mercy, at least with “Modern Warfare 3” from 2011. They “only” want €40 for the base game and €14 for each DLC.

What are the comments like? One reason people on Reddit are so angry about Activision Blizzard is because these old Call of Duty games are not in good shape and are unsafe. The servers are full of phishing bots, says one person. The bots there are just waiting to gain backdoor access to the PC. Activision knows this and does nothing.
Additionally, most old Call of Duty titles use the same engine and have the same bugs and exploits.
A 10% discount would be described as an “insult” at this point in time.
This is particularly weird: In addition, the titles offered here at full price were still available in a sale from mid-April to early May.
Black Ops III, for example, which is now selling for €60, cost €19.79 on Steam just a few weeks ago.
Another Reddit user adds that many of the games that are sold here for €60 are available used for €5. That’s just bad.
With so many points, you can understand a comment that says “Call of Wallet: Modern Robbery”. The bundle probably won’t make it into our list of the most expensive things on Steam that still make some sense: The 5 most expensive things on Steam that are even halfway worth it
