V Rising is enjoying great success and has been largely positive so far. A few features annoy some players, but you can easily turn them off.
The vampire game V Rising is brand new on Steam and is already one of the most successful hits in recent weeks.
But there is also criticism, with players complaining that the game penalizes them if they are not logged in. Exactly the problem can be avoided by adjusting the server settings of the game accordingly. We at MeinMMO show you what you have to consider
With the right settings, your castle in V Rising won’t decay quickly
What exactly is the problem? If you build your castle, then you have to take care of your castle heart and feed it with blood essences. Some users complained that the heart of the castle would expire after just a few hours.
Here’s what you can do about it: If you don’t want your castle to deteriorate so quickly and your possessions destroyed, then host your own game. To do this, select “Private Game”. Here you have over 50 functions that you can adapt to your needs. For example, you can choose the starting equipment or how many resources the opponents drop.
This is how you do it: You click on private game and set the basic things first. This includes how many players are allowed to play with you and whether there are PvP or PvE rules.
Then go to the “advanced game settings”. Because here you can customize even more things.
You have to make these settings: Here you go first to “Lock Settings”. The two most important points for you are “Decay Rate Multiplier” and “Blood Essence Drain Rate”:
By the way, this applies to all castles that are on your server. If you adjust these two points accordingly, then you shouldn’t have any problems if you can only log in once a day for an hour or if you’re on the road for several days and don’t have time to gamble.
What if I play on a different server? You cannot change the settings here and should therefore check how these two values are set. Because in the most annoying case, everything is suddenly gone.
