The Catch Art event is coming up in Pokémon GO on Saturday, December 9th. You can find out how to get the most out of the event here.
What kind of event is this? The Catch Art event will take place on Saturday, December 9th, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. During the event, you will be rewarded for your accuracy with Poké Balls in the form of additional experience points and can meet Schneppke, Arktip and Frigometri. How can I collect a lot of experience points at the event? The event will feature double experience points for good, great, and fabulous rolls.
Of the Pokémon that will increasingly appear in the wild during the event, Arktip is particularly easy to catch. This Pokémon has a large area for fabulous throws and is therefore particularly suitable.
Of course, you shouldn’t only catch Arktip. However, if you want to collect as many experience points as possible and you see different Pokémon on your screen, it could be worth it if you favor Arktip. Maybe you can combine the whole thing with one or two routes and meet Mateo along the way?
How do fabulous litters work?
How do I make fabulous throws? The most important thing to ensure that you consistently succeed in fabulous throws is practice. If you catch the same Pokémon over and over again, you’ll get a feel for how best to throw your Poké Balls.
A good way to do this is to hold the Poké Ball “in your hand” for a while and turn it slightly. Then wait for the right moment, when the circle has become just small enough for the fabulous throw, and then use a curved ball to push your Poké Ball towards the Pokémon. Or you can use this brilliant trick to make fabulous throws easier.

Items for more experience points
Which items can I use to get even more experience points? If your item inventory is good and you want to get the maximum experience points out of the event, you can increase your experience points with items. The first thing worth mentioning here is the Lucky Egg, with which you can increase your experience points by an additional 50% for 30 minutes.
Using smoke could also be useful. With its effect of spawning additional Pokémon, you will encounter more Pokémon. This gives you the chance to catch more Pokémon and get the additional experience points more often.
