In its impressive trailers, Tears of the Kingdom primarily advertises a new game world about Hyrule. Small islands and rocks open up a new way of exploring in the air. On the other hand, there is also a new area to explore under Hyrule, namely the underground.
How do you get to the underground? To get underground, all you have to do is find holes surrounded by red spots. There are several such holes in Tears of the Kingdom, be it in various caves or levels.

The earliest entry into the underground can be found at the Djiosinih Shrine in the Plains of Hyrule. On the way there, you can hardly miss the illuminated red spots at the entrance. You can also jump right in there.
But you should definitely have unlocked the glider, otherwise you won’t survive the fall into the depths. Glow Seeds and Arrows are also useful here, as it’s so dark you can’t see the ground. The combination of both items allows you to anticipate when you need to activate the glider.
